What is an inventory status?

Inventory Records in ArtCloud have Statuses. Newly added inventory will automatically have an Acvite status. Inventory statuses will change as the inventory is sold, returned to the artist, or no longer available. There are four statuses in ArtCloud:

Active - The inventory item is available for purchase.

Inactive - The inventory item is not available for purchase.

Available - Active and Inactive statuses, letting you display both Active and Inactive works.

Sold - The inventory item is associated with an invoice and sold. 

How do I change an inventory block  to show Active works? Inactive? Sold?

After adding an Inventory block to a page or page template, you can change what status inventory the block displays.

By default, Inventory blocks display all Active inventory. You'll change the Status dropdown to pull Active, Inactive, Available, or Sold inventory. The inventory status in the Manager determines the inventory status in the Website Builder.

Common Uses

Display All (Active, Inactive, Sold) inventory on Artist Profile Pages

1. Navigate to the Artist Profile Template
2. Click on the inventory block or the Inventory list
3. Adjust the Status from the default Active to All

Display Active inventory in one inventory block and sold inventory in another block on Artist Profile Pages

1. Navigate to the Artist Profile Page Template
2. Click on the inventory block or Inventory List
3. Add a new inventory block onto the page from the Content tab
4. Adjust the status of the new inventory block from the default status Active to Sold.

Display Active inventory on a Custom Page

1. Navigate to your Custom Page
2. Drag and drop an Inventory block onto the Custom Page.
3. Adjust the status dropdown from the default Active status
