Where do I edit my navigation menu?
When you're ready to edit your navigation menu, go to Website > Settings > Navigation.
How do I make my web page live? How do I add or remove a page to/from my navigation menu?
After launching your website and creating a webpage, the page is technically live. However, no website visitor can see the page until it's in the navigation menu or linked to another page in the navigation.
The line dividing the page titles indicates which pages are in the navigation. The pages above the line are in the website navigation, and the pages below are not. You can drag pages above the line to place them in the navigation or click the X next to the page title to remove it from the navigation.
NOTE: Making a navigation item not visible does not delete the page. Removing a page from the navigation hides the page and makes it difficult to access.
Users with the direct link can still access a page not in the navigation by entering the page URL. If you do not want users to access this page, you can recreate and delete the current page.
How can I reorganize my navigation menu?
You can drag the pages to rearrange the order in the website navigation. The navigation menu changes will take effect after you click "Save."
Can I nest pages in my menu?
To nest pages in the navigation, drag and drop one page below another. You can drag a page that's already in the navigation below another page or drag a page up from the Your Pages section.
NOTE: Remember to hit Save when you're finished making edits to your navigation.
Best practices for your navigation menu
We have a few recommendations when it comes to your navigation menu:
1. Keep the length of the page titles short - long titles can skew the appearance of your navigation within the Header.
2. Limit the number of pages in your Navigation menu - Too many pages in your navigation menu affect how your Header looks and distract website visitors. We recommend using dropdowns or nesting pages under other pages.
Why don't I see my changes right now? I already hit SAVE
When your website is live, data and information get cached in your browser, which makes your website load faster. Caching means it can take up to 10 minutes for the changes to take effect after adjusting your navigation menu.
