What is Affirm?

Affirm is a service that allows customers to pay for their purchases in installments, while ensuring that you receive the full payment upfront. This enables a seamless purchasing experience for your customers, offering them more flexible payment options!

This is a service provided via Stripe. This is available for all Stripe integrated ArtCloud customers.

What are the associated fees?

Affirm charges a flat 7% processing fee for any sale, no matter how large or small the balance. This fee is taken out from your payout total, and Affirm handles the payment plan directly with your customer.

How does it work in ArtCloud?

Since this is a payment option, you can control this at the individual invoice level once it's enabled on the account using the Remote Pay Link. You can turn on the Affirm purchasing option for your client's invoice through the Remote Pay button on the invoice itself:

How do I get Affirm as an option to process payment?

Please reach out to our team in ArtCloud Support for assistance with getting this payment option turned on for your use. 

Our team would need to enable this option on your individual account in order for you to be able to use this.

Can I use Affirm with my Stripe Terminal?

No, the Affirm payment option is currently only available at the individual invoice level through the Remote Pay Link.

What does my customer experience?

Once the Affirm payment option is turned on for the specific invoice, you can share the dedicated Remote Pay Link with them. When selecting the link, they'll see the Affirm option to "Buy Now, Pay Later" on this Remote Pay Link.
