What is this new partnership?

Artsy and ArtCloud have proudly announced an exciting new relationship, bringing new opportunities to connect, showcase, and sell art! This collaboration combines ArtCloud's art management platform with Artsy's global reach, creating a way for galleries, collectors, and art enthusiasts to experience and interact more with the art world.

How do I get my ArtCloud and Artsy accounts integrated?

What happens in ArtCloud when I make a sale on Artsy?

When a sale of a linked inventory item occurs on Artsy, you'll see:

  • an invoice is automatically generated in your ArtCloud account with the linked item, the Contact information for who purchased, and the payment recorded as 'Other'.
  • the invoice will gain an Origin tag of Artsy E-Commerce
  • a Contact record generated in the account for the client who had purchased from Artsy with an Origin tag of artsy
  • the linked inventory item will gain a Sold status in ArtCloud, a location of Sold to CONTACT NAME, and it will be marked Inactive.

Should I upload my new inventory to both my ArtCloud and Artsy accounts?

Once your accounts are integrated, you can easily share your newly added inventory record(s) to your Artsy account once the work(s) are added into ArtCloud. No double data entry! This will also help ensure consistency in your data. After you've uploaded your inventory into ArtCloud, you can learn how to link this item to Artsy here.

Does new inventory in ArtCloud automatically sync to my integrated Artsy account?

No, it does not. You have full control over which inventory items are synced to your Artsy account once the items are added into ArtCloud. Learn more here.

Where should I be managing my data?

ArtCloud should be the source of truth for your data. ArtCloud is an art management platform for seamless inventory, contact, and sales management; Artsy helps you connect to a robust global marketplace to grow your business!

I have an ArtCloud account and an Artsy account, but I can't integrate. Why?

To facilitate seamless synchronization of sales and inventory across both platforms, you must have an ArtCloud Manager subscription at the Pro or Pro Plus level to enable integration with your Artsy account.
