The Inventory Resource Templates and Cell Designs apply the same design to all inventory displays, meaning an inquire, offer, or purchase button can appear on inventory of all statuses. Deleting the buttons removes the block from all inventory. However, there's an option to display the button according to status.
Open the Inventory Detail or Inventory Modal Resource Template and click on the Inventory CTA Button block. Under the Design tab, turn on the "Hide if unavailable?" and/or "Hide if placed on hold" toggle.
The same toggles are available on the Inventory Grid and Inventory Waterfall cells.
