Since Page Templates determine the appearance of all Artist, Inventory, and Exhibition pages, a static blog block placed on a templated page will display all blog posts. However, Blog Linking allows users to specify which blog posts display on certain pages.
Linking blog posts will associate the post with a particular Artist, Inventory, or Exhibition. In the example below, the Artist, Inventory, and Exhibition fields associate the blog post with Kristina Andes, Winter, and "Summer Rain," respectively. Given that the Artist, Inventory, and Exhibition templates have a Blog block, only this blog post will show on the individual pages for Kristina Andes, Winter, and "Summer Rain."
You'll manage Blog Linking on the Setup page of a Blog post.
Example:
In this example, I use Blog Linking to display blog posts about particular artists on the Artist Profile template. When I add a Blog block to the Artist Profile template, only the blog posts I link to the artist will appear on the individual artist profile pages. The process also applies to Inventory and Exhibitions.
