What is the difference between Media and Blogs?
Walk Through Guide for Adding Media to an Artist Page
Pro Plus Linking is a feature within both Blogs & Media sections of your Website Builder. This gives users the ability to add custom content onto templated pages, like the Artist Profile Page Template, Inventory Detail Page Template, and Exhibition Detail Page Template.
Let's say you have video interviews for your Artists, an excerpt about an artwork from the Artist, or even an embed of a 3D model that you want to add onto one of your Artist's pages, Inventory pages, or Exhibition pages. Since these pages are generated from a singular template, how do you place this custom content on one Artists page versus all of them?
Pro Plus Linking allows users to specify which Artist, which Exhibition, or which Inventory page the Media appears on. This section appears towards the bottom of the Setup tab of your Media Entry:
What is the difference between Media and Blogs?
Media and Blogs in ArtCloud work very similarly, but they are used differently. Media Entries meant to be singular visual items (an image, a video, text as an element, etc...) sitting at the page level, while Blogs are for content that need an independent page link.
Blogs have both a preview aspect and content aspect to them, unlike Media which immediately shows the content aspect. They're great for press announcements, upcoming news, or even true written blog content for SEO.
