What is a Remote Pay Link?
A Remote Pay Link lets buyers securely enter their payment details and complete a purchase without visiting in person or paying through your ArtCloud website. After the buyer completes the Remote Pay form and submits payment, the associated Invoice Record closes.
Note: A Stripe integration is required to use Remote Pay Links. Read more: Stripe Payment Processing.
Generate a Remote Pay Link
Open an Invoice Record and click "Remote Pay Link." A popup will display the link for you to copy and share.
Use the "Remote Pay" button to determine if the link directs to a credit card or Affirm payment.
Share a Remote Pay Link
You can copy and share the link directly, but ArtCloud also includes the Remote Pay Link in the invoice you send to the buyer.
Click "Email" to send the invoice directly from ArtCloud, which includes the Remote Pay Link.
Click "Export" to download a PDF of the invoice that includes the Remote Pay Link.
What Does the Buyer See?
After opening the Remote Pay Link, the buyer is directed to a unique website with the invoice.
When they click "Pay Invoice Now," a popup prompts them to enter payment details.
Note: Buyers pay the full invoice amount on a Remote Pay Link. To record partial payments, manage the payment from the Invoice Record in ArtCloud.
Remove a Remote Pay Link
To exclude the Remote Pay Link from an emailed or exported invoice, click "Remote Pay" and uncheck both Credit Card and Affirm.
