What are Opportunities in ArtCloud?

While some art sales happen quickly, the sales process can often take weeks or months. Opportunities help you keep track of potential purchases as your gallery team works through the sales process. Think of Opportunities as your gallery's sales dashboard.

Benefits of Opportunities

  • Revenue Prediction: See the potential revenue the gallery and staff members could bring in over a given time
  • Staff Oversight: Understand what potential sales your team is working on and what sales activities they've completed
  • Collaboration: View the status of potential sales other staff are working on and collaborate on the sale if one sales member isn't available
  • Sales Workspace: Use a centralized workspace to track follow-ups and follow potential sales to completion

Configure your Opportunity Stages

To begin using Opportunities, define the stages of your sales process. Every gallery is different, so you can define your Opportunity Stages based on what makes the most sense for your business.

Don't worry if you don't get the stages right the first time. It will likely take some editing, adding, deleting, and re-ordering until you feel the stages are correct.

You can configure your Opportunity Stages in the Configuration tab in Account Settings.
