What is an "Artist Interested" Contact?

With "Artist Interested" Contacts, you can automatically gather and connect with customers who express interest in certain artists' works.

How does a Contact become interested in a certain artist or artists?

There are a few ways Contacts can become "Artist Interested:

• If contacts purchase or inquire about an artist's artwork on your website or the Marketplace
• If, when emailing collateral, you check the box to associate the recipients as an "Artist Interest."
• If you manually associate a contact with specific "Artist Interests," which proves helpful when getting started with ArtCloud

Where do I adjust the artists my contacts are interested in?

The Interests tab on a Contact Record displays the Artist Interests. To add an artist, click the "Add Artist Interest" button. To remove an Artist Interest, hover over the line item and click the red trashcan icon that appears.

How do I use this Artist Interest feature?

When a contact is associated with an inventory item, either through an inquiry, purchase, or collateral email, ArtCloud will track the contact's Artist Interest, and you can market to your customers.

For example, if a website visitor inquires about a piece by an artist, ArtCloud will automatically add that artist to the inquirer's Contact Record. Then, when you send a New Arrivals email for the artist, the website visitor will automatically receive the email.

Follow Artist Block

The Website Expert subscription tier includes a Follow Artist Block. When website viewers submit the form, ArtCloud will automatically add the artist to the Artist Interest section of their Contact Record. 

Audiences 

You can use the Artist Interest filter on Audiences to create a list of contacts with a shared Artist Interest. Then, you can send targeted email Campaigns to this Audience.
