Message Activity
Compose a Message
ArtCloud lets you send emails directly from the platform and logs all communications on Contact Records. We recommend integrating your Gmail or Outlook account.
Message Activity
Click the envelope icon at the bottom left to access the Message Activity page. This page lists all messages sent from ArtCloud, including transactional emails.
If your account has multiple users, toggle between "All" and "Mine" to view messages across all users or just your own. Control which users can view all messages in Account Settings >> Users.
Compose a Message
Click "New Message" at the top right corner to open a blank email. Messages come from the logged-in user.
- To: Enter a contact name to pull from your Contact Records or enter an email address to create a new Contact Record. You can add multiple contacts to one thread.
- Cc and bcc: Add other recipients. Copying other users on the message gives them access to continue the conversation.
- From: See which user the email comes from. The logged-in user will always be the sender.
- Body: Enter your message and adjust the text appearance. You cannot change the font, however.
- Attachments: Click the paperclip icon to attach a document or image. You can download and attach collateral PDFs.
- Add Content: Use the "Add Content" dropdown to embed collateral in the email body. Collateral includes tearsheets, pricelists, invoices, and other documents. After selecting a collateral type, choose the records to embed. Hover over the embedded content and click the settings cog to adjust the design.
- Follow Up: Create a to-do to continue the thread.
- Email Templates: Select a saved Email Template to insert in the message, or save the current email as a new template.
- Email signature: Hover over the signature to edit it, or manage the signature in Account Settings.
You can also compose and send messages directly from Inventory, Artist, Contact, and Invoice records. All sent messages are recorded in the Activities tab on the corresponding Contact Record.
