A quick definition guide of the differences between the status and settings options
ALL ACTIVE
A status that shows inventory items that are readily available for purchase. This is seen/changed on the item record and when displaying on an inventory widget on your website. This applies to the following:
- items that have the "Active" toggle turned ON on the item record
- items for sale and can be inquired about
- items with this status will display on the website if the "Active" toggle is turned ON on the item record and the inventory block widget displays "All" or "All Active" on the Artwork to Pull dropdown menu
- items on hold will maintain an Active status unless otherwise specified
ALL INACTIVE
A status that shows inventory items that are not readily available for purchase. This is seen/changed on the item record and when displaying on an inventory widget on your website. This applies to the following:
- items that have the "Active" toggle turned OFF on the item record
- items that have been added to an invoice, Open or Closed
- items not for sale, but can still be inquired about
- items with this status will not display on the website if the "Active" toggle is turned OFF
- items with this status will display on the website if the "Show this on your website" toggle is turned ON and the inventory block widget displays "All" or "All Inactive" on the Artwork to Pull dropdown menu
- items placed on third party consignment
ALL
A status to filter with or to choose to display on an inventory widget on your website. This applies to the following:
- items with the "Show this on your website" toggle turned ON
- items that are Active, Inactive, Available, Sold or are on an invoice that is Open, Closed, Declined, or On Approval
- you can display All items in the Artwork to Pull dropdown menu on the inventory block widget
AVAILABLE
This is a setting that is applied to item record that you can not toggle on/off. This applies to the following:
- items that are on Declined invoices and invoices On Approval
- the item is visible on the website and can be inquired about
- items that can be purchased
- items with this setting will display on the website if the "Show this on your website" toggle is turned ON on the item record and the inventory block widget displays "All" or "Available" on the Artwork to Pull dropdown menu
SOLD
This is a setting that is applied to item record that you can not toggle on/off. This applies to the following:
- items that are on Open or Closed invoices
- items can still be inquired about on your website even if on Open or Closed invoices
- item will display on the website if the "Show this on your website" toggle is turned ON on the item record and the inventory block widget displays "All" or "Sold" on the Artwork to Pull dropdown menu
- items must be on an invoice to have a "Sold" status
